Sunshine Coast City Hall, a landmark building in the heart of Sun Central’s Maroochydore CBD. The 5 Star Green Star building is positioned on a 20,000 sqm site with 11 levels for Council Chambers, local council administration, and additional commercial and retail spaces. Using sustainable design including energy efficient glazing and air conditioning systems. The project formed into an integrated fit out including glazing, wall finishes and specialized ceiling systems. With conjugation form our supplier partners Emrock, CSR Gyrock and Rondo to mention a few and teaming up with Queensland Glass to help install the glazing systems that now scattered throughout each floor. There was a lot of curved walls and details that need to be incorporated into the design, not to mention the level 5 finishes applied to the council chambers and ground floor entry. The finishes to these areas are second to none.
